River Harbour Of Anklam - Access To The Baltic Sea
     
 
The river harbour of Anklam is situated near the Oder delta, at the river Peene. This harbour is well connected to railway and road. The geographical location attracts goods from Middle and Western Europe as well as from Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Its located near the federel roads B 109, B 110 B 197 an the higway A20,direct acces to the European highway net.

Anklam plays an important role for shiping on the river Peene as well. This river can be shipped by vessels of 100 m length over approx. 100 km. So Anklam can provide acces to many locations along the river Peene to bays like Achterwasser and Greiswalder Bodden as well as to the Baltic Sea and Scandinavia. Other close directions are the port of Swinemünde and Stettin.

The river Peene is offering passage for vessels upto a deph of 2,5 m and the Oderhaff upto 3,0 m. A railway bridge in Anklam is limiting vessels to a width of 9,5 m and hight of 12, 5 m. Th harbour is about 1.000 m long and is equipped with varous cranes to handle all kinds of goods. Forklift trucks and conveyer belts are aviable. The harbour offers 20.000 sqm for storage.

The harbour of Anklam ist the biggest of it's kind in Mecklenburg - Vorpommern. Other harbours along the river Peene are in Demmin and in Jarmen.

The Port Of Jarmen

Jarmen is situated on the federal Roads B 96 and B 110 and direct acces to the highway A 20.
The harbour is about 500 m long and 2.8 m deep. Storages facilities offer 1.600 sqm. This harbour has been modernised recently. Now 4 ships can be handled at the same time. It is possible to load also bulk goods.
And Jarmen can be visited by passanger vessels too.

     
 

Demmin
The Port Of Demmin

Demmin is situated on the federal roads B 110 and B 194. The harbour is about 320 m long and 2,5 m deep. Storage facilities offer 1.100 sqm
